This standard specifies the requirements, methods, report content, etc. for numerical simulation analysis of 3D printed metal implants using finite element analysis (FEA) technology. This standard is applicable to the finite element analysis of the structural performance of the relevant final products of 3D printed metal implants during the product design stage and verification stage focusing on the mechanical properties, movement functions and biological functions of the product. According to this standard, the performance evaluation of 3D printed metal implants under clinical or experimental equivalent conditions can be used as a reference for the product design stage and verification stage. If the final evaluation basis for the true reliability of the product is obtained, corresponding in vitro experiments, animal experiments and other information should be added.
