Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of the diarrheal shellfish toxins Okadaicacid (hereinafter referred to as OA) and dinophysistoxins-1 (hereinafter referred to as DTX-1) in aquatic products. This standard is applicable to the determination of diarrheic shellfish toxins halichondrin and phycotoxin-1 residues in aquatic products. The quantitation limits of this standard for the diarrheal shellfish toxins Hachochoric acid and Phytoxin-1 are both 0.02 mg/kg.
