Scope

This procedure is formulated in order to standardize the spraying construction and acceptance of tunnel fire-retardant coatings, ensure construction quality, and ensure tunnel fire safety. This procedure is applicable to the fire retardant coating spraying construction and acceptance of various new, expanded, and reconstructed highway tunnel concrete structure projects. In addition to complying with this regulation, the spraying construction and acceptance of tunnel fire retardant coatings should also comply with the relevant national standards and regulations.
