Scope

Form: This specification covers an 18% nickel maraging steel in the form of welding wire. Application: Primarily for use as filter metal for inert gas-metal-arc welding of critical weldments of maraging steels where the joint is capable of being heat treated to 280@000 psi (1931 MPa) tensile strength.
