Scope

This document specifies a method for the determination of oligosaccharides in honey by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry. This document is applicable to the determination and identification of endogenous and exogenous oligosaccharides in honey. The oligosaccharides referred to in this document are maltoheptaose and maltoheptaose.
