Scope: This Aerospace Information Report (AIR) indicates those dimensions@ deemed critical by the manufacturer to assure proper mating of disconnect hose fittings. The dimensions are critical@ but not necessarily complete@ in defining these fittings since there are other criteria which must also be met. Purpose This AIR defines by drawing (see figures@ pages 2 through 8)@ various available oxygen hose disconnect fittings. The intent is to provide enough data to examine a connector of uncertain history and determine what style of connector it is. This AIR does not offer sufficient information to design@ manufacture@ or qualify a conforming part. NOTE: Dimensions shown in Figures 2 ?C 7 are either millimeters over inches@ or degrees over radians. If a dimension contains a degree symbol (??the dimension is angular@ all other dimensions are linear.
