This document deals with the measurement of the radioactiv noble gas <(hoch)222>Rn with passive radon measuring instruments. Passive radon measuring instruments in the sense of this document are predominanting integrating collecting instruments without working energy. The use of the charcoal measuring method is essentially related to the measurement of activity concentrations of randon in the air of rooms preferably for surveying measurements in buildings.
