Scope: This document specifies methods for measuring fuel consumption of heavy commercial vehicles. This document applies to commercial vehicles burning gasoline and diesel with a maximum design gross mass greater than 3500kg, including trucks, semi-trailer tractors, ordinary buses, dump trucks and city buses. Concrete mixer trucks can refer to the relevant measurement methods for dump trucks, and other special transport vehicles can refer to the relevant measurement methods for trucks. This document does not apply to special work vehicles, including van type special work vehicles, tank type special work vehicles, special dump work vehicles, warehouse gate type special work vehicles, lifting and lifting special work vehicles and special structure special work vehicles, etc. This document does not apply to hybrid electric vehicles.
