Scope

This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of the percentage of matter which can be extracted by diethyl ether from plasticized cellulose acetate. The method applies to plasticized cellulose acetate in any form, such as moulding material, sheet, manufactured articles, etc. NOTE — The extractable matter comprises principally the plasticizer.
