Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements and testing for lightning protection of rubber-tired tram systems. This standard is applicable to the lightning protection of rubber-tyred tram systems with small traffic volume, dedicated right-of-way, mainly elevated, the maximum operating speed should not exceed 80km/h, and the cross-section passenger volume during peak hours does not exceed 10,000 passengers.
