Scope

This standard stipulates the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging markings, and implementation of standards involved in the allowable limits of substances harmful to the human body and the environment in various types of vehicle coatings. This standard applies to all types of original automobile coatings, automobile repair coatings, rail transit vehicle coatings, motorcycle (including electric motorcycles) coatings, bicycle (including electric bicycles) coatings, and other vehicles (special operation vehicles, Low-speed automobiles, trailers, etc.) coatings, vehicle parts coatings. This standard does not apply to coatings for tractor transport units, coatings for wheeled special machinery, and coatings for military vehicles.
