Scope

This Part of GB/T 38048 specifies the physical characteristics of test equipment and materials used for general tests of some products in the "Surface Cleaning Appliances" series of standards. In addition, this section provides guidance on the evaluation of Wilton and other types of carpets to determine their acceptability for testing. This section applies to materials and equipment for testing surface cleaning appliances. NOTE: This section deals only with Wilton rugs and their treatments.
