Scope: This document specifies the instruments and equipment, test blocks, testing methods, equipment settings, testing procedures, acceptance, records and reports for phased array ultrasonic testing of seamless steel pipes. This document is applicable to flaws in seamless steel pipes (hereinafter referred to as "steel pipes") with an outer diameter of not less than 6 mm and a ratio of wall thickness to outer diameter of not more than 0.2.
