Scope

This document specifies the general requirements, test methods, test procedures and result evaluation for eddy current flaw detection of power cable seals of 110kV and above. This document is applicable to the detection and evaluation of lead sealing defects in line joints and terminals of power cables of 110kV and above. Power cables of other voltage levels using lead sealing technology can be implemented as a reference.
