Scope

This standard specifies a method for the determination of perchlorate in soil and soil mixtures. Under the conditions specified in this standard, perchlorate concentrations as low as 0.1 mg/kg can be determined. The operating range is limited by the ion exchange capacity of the separation column. May require diluting aqueous extracts to within working range
