Scope

This document specifies the test principle, instruments, equipment and reagents, test conditions, preservative treatment procedures, Preservative Release Assay Procedures, Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Data and Reporting. This document applies to laboratory tests of the rate of release of preservatives from uncoated wood and wood products treated with chemical preservatives when in contact with fresh or sea water.
