This document stipulates the classification and code number, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, transportation and storage, and quality commitment of heat-treated cold heading steel wire. This document is applicable to nominal diameters of 1.00 mm to 45.00 mm and is used for the manufacture of high-quality carbon structural steel wires and alloy structural steel wires (hereinafter referred to as steel wires) for the manufacture of rivets, bolts, screws, studs and other fasteners and cold-formed parts. After fasteners or cold-formed parts are cold forged or cold extruded, they need to undergo surface carburizing, nitriding, quenching and tempering and other heat treatments.
