Scope

This standard specifies the instrument requirements, on-site testing requirements and testing methods for detecting partial discharge using radio frequency method for substation power equipment. This standard is applicable to on-site detection of partial discharge radio frequency detection of open primary equipment in AC substations. Closed equipment can be used as a reference.
