- Scope
- This document applies to information technology equipment (3.1.19), audio equipment (3.1.6), video equipment (3.1.31), and broadcast receiving equipment (3.1.7) whose rated AC voltage effective value or DC voltage does not exceed 600V , Entertainment lighting control equipment (3.1.14) and its combination. This document also applies to the above equipment for professional use. The emission requirements specified in this document do not apply to intentional emissions from radio transmitters as defined by ITU, nor to spurious emissions associated with these intentional emissions. In other national standards corresponding to IEC/CISPR (except GB/T9254 and GB/T13837), the equipment that specifies the emission requirements for the applicable frequency band of this document is not included in the scope of this document. This document does not apply to field tests. This document covers Class A and Class B equipment. See Chapter 4 for equipment classification. The purpose of this document: a) Establish requirements to provide adequate protection for the radio frequency spectrum to ensure that radio services in the 9kHz~400GHz frequency band work as intended. b) Define procedures to ensure the reproducibility of measurements and the repeatability of results.
