Purpose: This specification covers the engineering requirements for electrodeposition of nickel and the properties of the deposit. Application: Primarily to provide moderate corrosion and oxidation resistance to metal parts but without control of other characteristics. If a hara plate is required@ AMS 2423 should be used; if a lcw-stressed plate is required@ AMS 2424 should be used.
