Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, inspection methods, emission limits and determination methods for exhaust pollutant emission inspection of in-use vehicles equipped with ignition engines. This standard applies to Class M and Class N vehicles equipped with ignition engines powered by gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and natural gas (NG), with a maximum design speed equal to or greater than 50 km/h.
