- Full Description 1.1 This specification covers the general objectives, terminology, dimensions and tolerances, labeling, and materials for nominal 15-mm connectors utilized in joining tracheal tubes to breathing systems. 1.2 The purpose of this standard is to specify minimum and performance and safety requirements and to further promote interchangeability of components for tracheal tube connections. 1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard.
