Scope

This standard specifies the field identification and evaluation of wheat varieties' resistance to powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis), including disease nursery setting and management, induction inoculation, disease investigation and resistance evaluation. This standard is applicable to the field identification and evaluation of wheat powdery mildew resistance of common wheat (including selected varieties/lines, local varieties, and special genetic materials), other wheat cultivated species, wild wheat, and wheat related species.
