Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of automotive plastic fuel tanks (hereinafter referred to as fuel tanks). This standard applies to automobile blow-molded plastic boxes and automobile plastic fuel tank assemblies made of welded and assembled parts.
