Scope
The present document describes the outputs of a pre-standardization study of the Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control (CACC) application. It consists of: ? Definition of the CACC use cases; ? Definition of CACC architecture; ? Requirement analysis of the application and the communication systems; ? Recommendations on the standardization needs for the communication layers (including facilities layer@ Networking Transport layer and access layer) in support of the CACC application; ? Recommendation on the CACC application standardization.
