- This document specifies the terms and definitions, models and basic parameters, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, Instructions for use, packaging, transportation, storage and handling, quality commitment. This document is applicable to hedges and shrubs operated by one or more linear reciprocating cutting devices powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack (battery pack) with a nominal voltage not exceeding 75 V DC under normal environmental conditions. Hedge trimmer for pruning cutting operations. This document does not apply to: a) Lithium-powered hedge trimmers with rotating blades; b) Hand-held hedge trimmers powered by a universal battery pack or battery pack installed by the user; c) Other non-lithium-ion batteries as power source of handheld hedge trimmer.
