Scope

This standard specifies the method requirements for detecting welding residual stress of aluminum alloy components using ultrasonic critical refraction longitudinal wave method. This standard is applicable to ultrasonic testing of residual stress in welds and heat-affected zones of aluminum alloy products with a wall thickness of not less than 1 mm.
