Scope
This document specifies a common data format that can be used for exchange in the use of binary format and extensible markup language (XML) in biometric identification to represent the specific mechanism used for attack detection and the detection results. This document is applicable to standardize the data related to the detection of presenting attacks involved in the acquisition of biometric characteristics by sensors in different application areas. This document does not apply to standardize the presentation of information related to the authenticity, integrity and confidentiality of attack detection data during storage and transmission. NOTE: Although addressing security issues is beyond the scope of this document, see GB/T 28826.1, which protects PAD data by encoding it as a biometric information record that includes an optional security block.
