- This standard specifies the classification and labeling, material, physical, chemical, biological, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of polyester filter membranes for leukocyte removal filters. This standard applies to polyester filter membranes for leukocyte removal filters (hereinafter referred to as leukocyte removal filter membranes). The filter membranes are assembled on disposable leukocyte removal filters that comply with YY 0329 and are used to remove leukocytes from blood and blood components. This standard does not apply to leukocyte-removing filter membranes made of other materials such as polyimide sponge or ultra-fine glass fiber filters.
