Scope: 1 Scope This document describes a reference planning process for seamless production planning. NOTE In this context, “seamless” means the consideration of multiple planning aspects (relevant planning disciplines) within the product life cycle, as illustrated in Figure 1 and Figure B.1. The scope of the discussed reference process focusses on the planning of production systems such as make-to-stock or assemble-to-order production.
