Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the drying rate of fabrics under dynamic conditions using an evaporative hot plate. This standard is applicable to all kinds of fabrics and products in direct contact with the skin, such as sports and leisure or underwear. This standard does not apply to fabrics that are impermeable to water vapor or have a thickness greater than 5 mm.
