This document specifies the ordering content, classification and code, section, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of square and rectangular welded steel pipes for mechanical structures. This document applies to square and rectangular tubes (hereinafter referred to as square and rectangular tubes) produced from hot-rolled steel strips on continuous roller cold bending units for machinery, automobiles, furniture and other mechanical components and structures. Square and rectangular tubes produced by drawing, extruding, bending, etc. can also be used as a reference. The square and rectangular tubes specified in this document mainly use high-frequency resistance welding, and other welding methods can also be used.
