Scope

This document specifies the acceptance level of ultrasonic time-of-flight diffraction (TOFD) technology for ferritic steel full penetration welds with a thickness ranging from 6 mm to 300 mm. The acceptance level corresponds to the quality level of ISO5817 one by one. The acceptance levels specified in this document are applicable to TOFD indications classified according to time-of-flight diffraction (TOFD) specified in ISO10863.
