Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of α-zearalenol and zearalenone in plant-derived foods by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the qualitative confirmation and quantitative determination of α-zearalenol and zearalenone in plant-derived foods such as corn, soybeans, rice, peanuts, corn starch, flour, soybean oil, corn salad oil, sesame oil, etc. The detection limits of this standard method are: α-zearalenol and zearalenone are 1.5 μg/kg and 1.0 μg/kg respectively.
