- This document specifies the sample preparation, sample testing, test result calculation, etc. for the determination of nitrogen content in continuous nitride ceramic fibers by inert gas fusion-thermal conductivity detection method. This document is applicable to the determination of the total nitrogen content of continuous silicon nitride ceramic fibers, continuous boron nitride ceramic fibers, continuous silicon boron nitrogen ceramic fibers, and continuous silicon boron carbon nitrogen ceramic fibers by inert gas melting-thermal conductivity detection method. The nitrogen content test of discontinuous nitride ceramic fiber and matrix refers to this document. Refer to this document for the nitrogen content test of other ceramic fibers.
