Scope
This standard establishes a procedure for the quantitative determination of the content of nitrogen, carbon dioxide and C1 - C5 hydrocarbons individually and the total content of C6+, represented by all hydrocarbons with a carbon number of 6 or higher, in natural gas samples by gas chromatography. This standard applies to the analysis of natural gas within the operating ranges given in Table 1
