GB/T 16895.13-2022 Low-voltage electrical installations—Part 7-701: Requirements for special installations or locations—Locations containing a bath or shower (English Version)
The special requirements of this document apply to indoor or outdoor electrical installations with tubs and/or showers, where the tubs and/or showers are intended to be permanently installed in specific locations. The scope of places with bathtubs and/or showers is: --- the lowest finished floor surface; --- a level 3 m above the lowest finished floor surface; --- 4 m from the fixed outlet of the bathtub or shower The vertical surrounding virtual surface of the distance; and — a minimum thickness of 6 cm for solids in the walls, floors and ceilings of the premises adjacent to the bath or shower. Note 1: When the shower head and hose are movable, the fixed water outlet is located at the water supply end of the hose. The requirements of this document also apply to fixed electrical installations in mobile installations, such as caravans, motorhomes, shower enclosures. This document does not apply to emergency facilities, such as emergency showers used in industrial areas or laboratories.
