- This document specifies the technical contents such as symbol characteristics, symbol structure, data encoding, symbol size and printing quality requirements, error correction rules, reference decoding algorithm, data transmission and user-selectable application parameters of data matrix codes. This document is applicable to the generation and reading of data matrix codes.
