This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and quality commitment of starch-based plastic shopping bags. This document applies to films produced with starch and plastic resin as the main raw materials, plastic shopping bags processed by bag making processes such as heat sealing or gluing, and also applies to shopping bags composed of starch-based plastics and other materials. This document does not apply to starch-based plastic bags that are only used for packaging and not for carrying, such as starch-based plastic roll bags (also known as tear bags or break bags).
