This standard specifies the general principles of enterprise intellectual property management, intellectual property management system, management responsibilities, resource management, basic management, implementation and operation, review and improvement requirements. This standard is applicable to equipment manufacturing enterprises that have the following aspirations: a) Establish an intellectual property management system; b) Operate and continuously improve the intellectual property management system; c) Seek evaluation of its intellectual property management system from third-party organizations.
