This part of GB/T 37162 specifies the methods and techniques for monitoring the degree of particle contamination in hydraulic systems, and describes the advantages and disadvantages of various methods so that the monitoring method can be correctly selected under given conditions. The methods described in this section are suitable for monitoring; a) the cleanliness of the hydraulic system; b) the flushing process; c) auxiliary equipment and test benches. This section also applies to the monitoring of other liquids (for example: lubricating oil. Fuel. Treatment fluid). NOTE: Instruments used to monitor bee particle contamination cannot be considered or referred to as particle counters, even though they employ the same physical principles as particle counters.
