Scope

This document specifies the requirements and test methods for non-mobile dental units, dental patient chairs and combinations of the two, whether or not they are powered. This document also specifies requirements for instructions for use, technical specifications, marking and packaging. This document does not apply to physician chairs, portable dental equipment, and dental lights.
