Scope

This document specifies an on-line purge and trap/gas chromatography method for the determination of volatile organic compounds in water. This document is suitable for continuous online monitoring of 19 volatile organic compounds in surface water. When the sampling volume is 1.5L, the detection limit of this standard determination method is 0.15 μg/L ~ 0.47 μg/L. See Appendix A for details.
