Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, energy consumption limits, statistical scope, calculation methods and main aspects of the energy consumption per unit product (hereinafter referred to as energy consumption) of soda ash produced by the ammonia-alkali method and the combined alkali method (including light soda ash and heavy soda ash). Energy saving measures. This standard is applicable to the calculation, control and assessment of energy consumption in soda ash production enterprises using ammonia-alkali process and combined alkali process.
