Scope

This document specifies the test voltage, test equipment, test wiring, safety distance, test conditions, test procedures and test result determination for on-site AC withstand voltage testing of cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cables. This document is applicable to on-site AC withstand voltage testing of cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cables with rated voltages from 10kV to 500kV.
