This standard stipulates the sowing and seedling raising of Zanthoxylum bungeanum, gardening conditions, planting techniques, pest and disease control, harvesting and storage, etc. This standard applies to the mountainous areas of southwestern Sichuan (Ganze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Panzhihua City and parts of Ya'an City), the main producing areas of Zanthoxylum bungeanum, the alpine valley areas of western Sichuan (Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture), and the mountainous areas around the basin.
