- This document specifies the ONU Management and Control Interface (OMCI) for Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON), 10Gbit/s Passive Optical Network (XG-PON) and 10Gbit/s Symmetric Passive Optical Network System (XGS-PON) , OMCI protocol-independent MIB, ONU Management Control Channel (OMCC) and Management Control Protocol, and OMCI message set. This document applies to the design, development, production and operation of GPON/XG-PON/XGS-PON equipment based on public telecommunications networks.
