Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of four basic industrial dyes, basic yellow O, basic orange, basic violet 5BN and basic rhodium B, in food and agricultural products. This standard is applicable to the determination of alkaline bright yellow O, alkaline orange, alkaline violet 5BN and alkaline rhodium B in food and agricultural products. This standard stipulates that the detection limits of basic bright yellow O, basic orange, basic purple 5BN and basic roseate B are 0.5μg/kg, 0.5μg/kg, 5μg/kg and 0.1μg/kg respectively.
