Scope

What is ISO 3548 ‑ 2 about?    ISO 3584 is an International Standard on plain bearings. ISO 3548-2 is the second part in the multi-series of documents that is applicable to the plain bearings on thin-walled half bearings with or without flanges. Conformity to ISO 3548-2 helps maintain geometrical precision and accuracy in the manufacture of bearings for various applications.   ISO 3548 ‑ 2 specifies, in accordance with ISO 12301 , the checking of the wall-thickness of thin-walled half bearings with or without flange and describes the necessary checking methods and measuring equipment.   ISO 3548 ‑ 2 applies to a maximum bearing diameter of 150 mm.
