This standard specifies the test conditions, test methods, and judgment of test results for thermoelectric testing of copper and aluminum materials in distribution transformer windings. This standard is applicable to the detection of copper and aluminum winding materials of distribution transformers with voltage levels of 35kV and below. This standard does not apply to distribution transformers where the winding material is copper-clad aluminum.
